As a board-certified music therapist, I am trained to harness the multifaceted powers of music. My person-centered approach focuses on holistic well-being, healing, self-care, and mentorship to nurture your physical, mental, and emotional health through a variety of programs and services.

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Do you have anxiety and just are not able to calm down on your own? Do you overthink life? Are you interested in knowing how music can help you alleviate pain? Music therapy is an allied health profession. Music therapist must meet strict educational and field experience requirements, and pass a board certification exam in order to hold this title. Certifications are renewed on a five year rolling basis, and music therapist must complete a minimum level of continued education requirements. Amy has experience providing music therapy services in large clinical organizations, in school settings, and in-home and group settings.
Learn how to play an instrument at any age. If you can count to 8 and know your alphabet up to the letter G, you can learn how to read and play music. I provide traditional, and non-traditional music instruction and will individualize lessons to meet the needs and wants of the students. Amy earned her bachelor in Piano Pedagogy at Butler University. She went on to earn an equivalency in Music Therapy at Indiana University, and in addition earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
With many years of program management, grant management, and working in private, non-profit, government and corporate, I have firsthand experience and understanding of change management. If you are seeking expert advice and need and want to launch your ideas into actions, I'm here to provide you with strategic planning, support, and ways for you to have a clear path forward.
Silence is Self-Care Journal by Amy Sandlin is a resource tool to help you bring balance and harmony to your life through this guided book of reflection, mindfulness practices, and activities to keep you motivated on track. Self-care routines need to be personalized, motivating, and meaningful, and this journal was created to help keep you on a schedule of intentional self-care practices.
My Exceptional Self-Love Journal by Amy Sandlin goes beyond positive affirmations, and dives into individual mindful practices for increasing self-love. Designed for all ages, but is geared for individuals who may be on the spectrum of Autism. Identify your personality strengths, learn to appreciate who you are, create a routine of self-love and kindness, and learn how important setting goals can be in helping individuals to identify priorities. This journal includes calendar tracking, mindset planner, and much much more!
